Terri Sessoms

Terri Sessoms currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Johnston County Board of Education and is actively involved in multiple educational and community organizations, including the CTE Advisory Council Johnston County, the Johnston County Education Foundation, and the Steering Committee for Read to Grow with the Partnership for Children Johnston County. As a member of the Board of Directors for the Benson Area Chamber of Commerce, Terri brings extensive experience, having previously been a candidate for the Johnston County Board of Education and served on the Board of Directors for Johnston County NAMI. Terri's professional background includes a significant tenure as a Senior Consultant at the International Center for Leadership in Education and a long career with Johnston County Schools, culminating as a Senior Leader. Terri holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Western Carolina University.
