Emma Schanwald

Emma Schanwald is a seasoned professional in the cosmetology and education sectors, currently serving as a Brand Educator for Joico since November 2015, where responsibilities include assisting at major trade shows and conducting continuing education for cosmetologists. Emma is also the owner and master stylist of an independent cosmetology business since March 2008, and operates Kamma Beauty Studios since January 2010. In addition, Emma held the position of Lead Instructor at The Aveda Institute of New Mexico from September 2022 to August 2024, and served as Operations Manager for Sonaya Group, a prominent Great Clips franchisee, from 2018 to January 2021. Emma holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of New Mexico (2018-2022) and a cosmetology license from Callas Cosmetology Institute (2008-2009).
