VP of Food Value Chain and Logistics at Tangelo

Christopher Woods has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 2002 when they were hired as General Manager of Physical Therapy and Fitness Plus. During their tenure, they increased total cashflow by 15%, total revenue by 12.2%, and decreased accounts receivable by 4.5%. Christopher also increased fitness center sales by 22%, implemented full HIPAA regulations with development and training of personnel, and updated policies and procedures to comply with full JCAHO regulations.

In 2005, Christopher Woods moved to Four M Capital and Diversified Restaurant Holdings as a Training General Manager. Here, they managed multi-unit locations during the opening and development process and trained and developed all management levels from GM to Shift Leaders. Christopher also created and executed hiring and training procedures to hire up to 130 BOH and FOH employees.

In 2012, Christopher Woods joined Jetro Restaurant Depot as Branch Manager. Christopher was responsible for supply chain management including order management, logistics, shrinkage, inventory control, product quality inspections and returns and distribution of over 10,000 products. Christopher also had excellent financial acumen with over 3 years of P&L responsibilities of Supply Chain management.

In 2017, Christopher Woods moved to Baldor Specialty Foods, Inc. as a Wholesale Sales Executive. Here, they facilitated the recovery of 6 Health Care Food Service operations successfully bringing them up to health department code, increased the quality of food and decreasing the total cost of the program by 24% in 9 months. Christopher also slashed food cost purchasing by 26% by negotiating GPO programs, direct supplier rebates, and 3PL self-distribution programs.

Most recently, in 2020, Christopher Woods joined Tangelo as VP of Food Value Chain and Logistics. Here, they implemented strategies to improve menu utilization for better customer satisfaction, hiring and training programs for better retention and employee experience, and audit systems to sustain success and compliance.

Christopher Woods obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Health Administration from Ferris State University in 2004. Christopher also holds a HACCP Certified certification and completed ServSafe 2015.
