Vishnu Vardhana Balu

Vishnu Vardhana Balu has a diverse and extensive work experience. Vishnu is currently the Founding Engineer at Fleek (YC W22) since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and CTO of BeWell Digital, a HealthTech startup, from November 2020 to March 2023. During their time at BeWell Digital, the startup was accepted as part of the YC W21 cohort, and Vishnu was part of the YC W21 Founder's program. Vishnu played a crucial role in building the startup from scratch and navigating multiple changes.

Before BeWell Digital, Vishnu worked as a Senior Full Stack Architect (Remote) at IPAOO from July 2017 to November 2020. Vishnu was responsible for building the entire platform from scratch, including the UI, backend, and DevOps. Additionally, Vishnu established and managed their own firm, Coding Black Belt Inc, from January 2017 to November 2020. As an Independent Solutions Architect, they handled client acquisition, project management, and ideation for various brands, including IPAOO.

In 2014, Vishnu worked as a Lead Software Engineer at ScientiaMobile, where they developed a site assessment tool for Image Engine CDN. Vishnu also created React, Ember, and Angular NPM packages for Image Engine developers. Prior to that, Vishnu served as a Product Developer at Bravo Lucy As from December 2011 to October 2014, with an initial internship role from December 2011 to May 2012.

Vishnu started their career as a Search Analytics intern at eBay from May 2010 to November 2010. Overall, their work experience showcases their expertise in various roles, including engineering, entrepreneurship, architecture, and product development.

Vishnu Vardhana Balu completed their education at PSG College of Technology from 2007 to 2012, where they earned a Master's degree in Software Engineering. Recently, in the year 2020 to 2021, they attended Y Combinator, although no specified degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
