Juan Camilo Marin Vargas has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and leadership. Juan Camilo started their career as a Software Development Intern at Suramericana, where they designed and developed printed formats. Juan Camilo then progressed to the role of Software Development Analyst, where they maintained and developed new solutions for the life insurance segment, including the successful integration project between SAP and the company's legacy systems.

Afterwards, Juan joined Avanade Netherlands BV as a Data & Analytics (MSc Intern), where they focused on developing a strategic Predictive Analytics services proposal. Juan Camilo conducted a study of the state of the art in Data Analytics and Predictive Analytics and presented a Technology Roadmap for Avanade and TU Delft.

At Genius Sports Group, Juan worked as a Senior Software Engineer before joining Course Studio as an Engineering Lead. At Course Studio, they led the product department, designing the architecture of their flagship product Wobo and coordinating product-related projects. Juan Camilo also advised the agency department on software decisions and developed, tested, and maintained software products using various technologies.

Later, Juan joined ProductWind as a Senior Software Engineer before their most recent role as a Senior Software Engineer at Found.
