Amar Shah

Amar Shah is an experienced executive currently serving as VP & GM of Marketplace at Propel, Inc. since August 2024. Prior to this role, Amar took a sabbatical from December 2022 to December 2023, during which time personal and family pursuits, including welcoming a child, home renovations, and traveling, were prioritized. From January 2016 to December 2022, Amar held the position of Senior Director and Head of Consumer & Marketplace at Affirm, Inc., where significant contributions included the development of the direct-to-consumer business and merchant ad services, as well as leading efforts in new market experimentation. Previously, roles at PayPal, Sony, TechnoServe, and L.E.K. Consulting provided additional expertise in strategy, growth, corporate development, and consulting. Amar holds an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Literature and Political Science from Duke University.
