Director Of Technology Policy at Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies

Danielle Davis, Esq. is currently a Visiting Fellow at the Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy, specializing in tech and public policy. Since September 2023, Danielle serves as the Director of Technology Policy at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies. Prior experience includes the role of Assistant General Counsel at the Universal Service Administrative Co., where Danielle navigated legal issues related to broadband access funding, and Tech and Telecom Policy Counsel at the Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council, managing policy initiatives and providing legal counsel. Danielle's early career features positions as a Tech and Telecom Fellow at the National Urban League and the National Council of Negro Women, focusing on the impact of technology on marginalized communities. Academically, Danielle holds a Juris Doctor from Barry University and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Political Science from Florida Atlantic University.
