Abdulelah Alhawsawi

Abdulelah Alhawsawi is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in leadership roles, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Joint Commission Resources and Chief Executive Officer at Novo Genomics since May 2022. Alhawsawi holds the position of Vice President for International Affairs at GLOBAL SEPSIS ALLIANCE and serves as an adviser at the Saudi Central Board For Accreditation of Health Care Institutions (CBAHI). Previous roles include advisor at the Saudi Health Council, Patient Safety Advisor at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, and Chief Executive Officer at NoorDX. From March 2017 to October 2020, Alhawsawi was the Director General at the Saudi Patient Safety Center and has a background in HBP surgery, having served as a transplant and HBP surgeon at KAUH from January 2002 to September 2019.
