Jennifer Glossinger-Simonson

Planner: US Military at Joint Enabling Capabilities Command

Jennifer Glossinger-Simonson is a seasoned Humanitarian Assistance Advisor with extensive experience at USAID and the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command. Since January 2020, Jennifer's role at USAID involved leading humanitarian operations workshops and exercises to train military forces in disaster response. Prior experience includes crisis planning related to the Niger evacuation and supporting operations in Iraq and Syria as a CJ 9 Planner. Jennifer has held various leadership roles in the U.S. Army Reserves, managing civil affairs operations and crisis response planning. Additionally, Jennifer is a certified Yoga Instructor, having taught at various organizations and blending humanitarian work with wellness practices. Educational qualifications include a MAC in Counseling and a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification.
