Valerie Vance has a long and varied work experience. Valerie began their career in 1981 as a Corporate Account Business Manager at S.C. Johnson in Grand Rapids, MI. In 2006, they established their own business, V.P. Connections, LLC, where they provided direct sales, consulting and fashion accessories, as well as wedding and events coordination. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Senior Director - Independent Miche Representative for Miche Bag and then as a Financial Development Coordinator for the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association. From 2014 to 2015, they served as Executive Director of the Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute Foundation, and from 2018 to 2020, they were an Events/Development at Easterseals South West Florida. In 2020, they became a Team Leader at Joiya and in 2022, they became a Travel Advisor and Business Owner for Leisure Travel Connections.
Valerie Vance attended Western Michigan University from 1969 to 1971, studying Communications and Arts.
