Charles Barry

Charles is the CTO of Jolata and a four time entrepreneur. Previous to Jolata, as founder and CEO of Brilliant Telecommunications, he led the company to successfully deliver the best and most accurate timing to some of the world's biggest service providers and financial trading networks. Brilliant was acquired by Juniper Networks in 2011. Previous to Brilliant, Charles was the founder and CTO at Luminous Networks, a network equipment company that enabled cable operators and service providers to deliver shared Ethernet services. Luminous Networks was acquired by ADTRAN Inc. Prior to Luminous Networks, Charles led network architecture at startup/IPO serving digital satellite providers. Charles received his PhD and Masters degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, and Bachelor's degree in physics from MIT.
