Samir Bitar is a senior marketing strategist with a passion for the arts. Samir has worked in the art world for many years, most recently as the director of Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation. Prior to that, they were the senior marketing strategist at Wrightwood 659, where they were responsible for creating multi-channel marketing strategies to build audience for new, premier art exhibition spaces in major American cities.
At Wrightwood 659, Samir also served as the brand manager and developed key messages for Wrightwood 659, Alphawood Exhibitions, and Halsted A&A Foundation. Samir also created and managed expense budgets for advertising and promotions, and monitored sales and forecasted revenue. Samir was an active participant in programming discussions and a leader to a four-person team.
Since joining Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation, Samir has continued their work in developing digital content calendars and managing the distribution of video content. Samir has also overseen the development and implementation of content and messaging strategies for Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation's social media presence.
Samir Bitar has a Masters from Carnegie Mellon University, a professional training program in Modern Dance from Merce Cunningham Studio, and a Bachelor's in Humanities/Humanistic Studies from New College of California.
