David Watts

David Watts has a diverse work history, with experience in various industries. David started their career in 1999 as an Investor Service Representative at Janus Mutual Funds, where they executed trades and provided customer support. After that, they worked as an Executive Analyst and Departmental Production Manager at Amherst Reeves Worldwide / Argus Public Relations, where they managed projects and allocated assignments to the creative department.

In 2002, Watts joined Harrow Sports, Inc. as a Sales Associate, contributing to the strategic development and sales of lacrosse products. David then served as the Executive Director at Call for the Wild Foundation from 2004 to 2006, overseeing environmental conservation projects and successfully raising over $400K in donations.

Watts entered the oil and gas industry in 2006, starting as a Field Landman at Transcontinent Oil Company, performing lease buying, title research, and negotiation. David continued their landman work as a Landman at Bill Barrett Corporation and Delta Petroleum Corporation, managing multiple drilling prospects, performing title research, and leasing mineral owners. David'srole at Bill Barrett Corporation also involved negotiating with working interest owners and preparing assignment documentation.

Most recently, Watts held the position of Vice President - Land & Property Administration - All Company Operations at Jonah Energy LLC since November 2015. Overall, they have demonstrated a strong background in land management, title research, negotiations, and project management.

David Watts has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology with a minor in American History from Middlebury College, which they earned between 1995 and 1999. Between 2002 and 2003, they attended the University of Colorado Denver, where they focused on Geology and Natural Resources. In 2009, they pursued a Masters of Science in Global Energy Management at the same university and successfully completed it in 2011.
