Josh Mars

Josh serves as General Counsel to Jones Capital and its portfolio companies, covering legal needs including general corporate, contract, acquisition, regulatory, employment and related legal matters. His qualifications include graduate degrees from George Washington University School of Law, University of Florida School of Law, and Mississippi College School of Law, as well as a BA from Belhaven University.

Prior to joining Jones, Josh worked at one of Mississippi’s most prominent law firms representing a host of mid-to-large companies in various corporate, transaction, tax, regulatory and contract matters. That personal experience provides him with the knowledge to handle nearly any corporate legal issue they might face today. Josh is the proud father of 8 children and in the very little spare time he has left, he enjoys travel, hiking, hunting and politics.
