Yael Sandler DipWSET is a seasoned wine professional with extensive experience in various roles within the wine industry. Currently serving as a Cellar/Lab hand at Josef Chromy Wines since February 2021, Sandler has previously worked as a Wine Educator at the Israel Wine & Spirits Institute and has held positions such as Vintage Winemaker at Ella Valley Vineyards, Winemaker at Binyamina Winery, and multiple roles at Vue de monde and Yarra Yering. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, a Master’s in Oenology from the University of Adelaide, and a Bachelor of Education.

Josef Chromy OAM (Order of Australia Medal) has owned and developed some of Tasmania's best-known premium wine brands including Jansz, Heemskerk, Tamar Ridge and Rochcombe (now Bay of Fires), and is recognized for his commitmentand contribution to quality food and wine in Tasmania.
