Alba Gines Molina currently serves as an Innovation Project Manager at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute since July 2023. Prior to this role, Alba worked at Fundació Bosch i Gimpera focusing on innovation and technological transfer from February 2018 to July 2023. Alba's postdoctoral research experience includes a position at the University of California, San Francisco, where research involved the discovery and validation of potential biomarkers related to lung cancer, and at the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute, studying cellular and molecular mechanisms in digestive tumors. Alba holds a postgraduate degree in project management for new drug development from Universitat de Barcelona and is an expert in molecular biology, having completed a PhD in cellular and molecular biology at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Educational qualifications also include a bachelor's degree in Health Biology from Universitat de Barcelona.
