Veronica Davalos

Veronica Davalos is an accomplished researcher in the field of cancer epigenetics and biology, currently serving as an Associate Researcher at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute since May 2019. Prior to this role, Veronica worked as a Scientific Researcher at the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute - IDIBELL from July 2016 to May 2019, contributing to the Cancer Epigenetics and Biology Program led by Dr. Manel Esteller. Veronica's experience also includes a postdoctoral research position at NYU Langone Medical Center from September 2013 to June 2016, and another postdoctoral role at Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute - IDIBELL from 2009 to 2013. Early in the career, Veronica completed a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, alongside a Master's degree from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador. Additionally, Veronica was a member of the Marie Curie Alumni Association from 2014 to 2017, focusing on international research collaborations.
