Betty A. Leon

Betty Leon is the 1st Vice Chair of the Joseph P. Addabbo Family Health Center, Inc. Board of Directors. An attorney and registered nurse, Ms. Leon brings more than 40 years of experience as a passionate community advocate and leader with expertise in educational, clinical and legal settings. Among her many leadership positions as a volunteer and activist, she serves as the Democratic State Committee person for the 31st Assembly District, judicial delegate for Queens County Democratic Club, member of the Executive Board (Secretary) for Community Board 14 Queens, member of NYU Alumni, member of CUNY Alumni, president of the Brooklyn Independent Democratic Club,chair of By-laws / Membership / Commemorative Committee: Community Board 14Q and Chair of Peninsula Preparatory Academy Charter School.
