Corey Hickerson

Corey Hickerson is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Superintendent and Chief Administrative Officer at Joshua ISD since May 2020. Previously, Corey held the position of High School Principal at Buffalo ISD from May 2018 to June 2020 and at Rice ISD from June 2017 to May 2018. Additionally, Corey was the Elementary Principal at Blooming Grove ISD from May 2016 to June 2017 and served as a teacher, coach, head baseball coach, and offensive coordinator at Corsicana ISD from July 2010 to July 2015. Before entering the educational field, Corey was the General Manager of Operations and Sales at Anytime Fitness, achieving significant business success. Corey holds a Superintendent and Principal Certificate from Lamar University, an MBA from Tarleton State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Texas State University.
