Richard Calderon

Chief, Clinical Operations, Beetham Eye Institute at Joslin Diabetes Center, Inc.

Richard Calderon, OD, FAAO, has extensive experience in ophthalmology, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School since July 1975. In addition, Richard holds multiple roles at the Joslin Diabetes Center, including Associate Chief of Clinical Practice and Chief of the Center for Advanced Diagnostic Imaging at the Beetham Eye Institute, along with positions as Chief of Clinical Operations and Staff Optometrist. Richard's affiliations also include the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary as a staff member, allied staff roles at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and an adjunct clinical instructor position at UMass Medical School.
