William Dee

William Dee has over 20 years of work experience in the field of intellectual property and technology law. William is currently the Senior Director of Technology Transfer at Joslin Diabetes Center since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Patent Attorney at Invention Management Associates from October 2019 to October 2021. William also worked as an Attorney, specializing in intellectual property and technology law, at their own firm, William Dee, Esq., from December 2010 to December 2016. Additionally, they have held various roles in the legal departments of organizations such as The National Institutes of Health, Covidien, Tyco Engineered Products & Services, Cabot Corporation, Edwards & Angell, and Sheehan Phinney Bass + Green.

William Dee attended Northeastern University from 1982 to 1987 where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. In 1992, they attended Boston University School of Law and obtained a JD degree in Law in 1995. Additionally, they pursued an MBA in Business at the Questrom School of Business, Boston University from 1993 to 1995. Later, in 2012, William enrolled at Northeastern University again and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biotechnology in 2015. It is not specified when or if they attended the University of New Hampshire.
