Kimmo Illikainen

Kimmo Illikainen is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at JOT Automation since January 2023, bringing extensive experience in project management and mechanical design. Previously, Kimmo served as a Project Manager at Proventia Oy from May 2016 to January 2023, where responsibilities included directing product development projects for OEM customers, managing costs and schedules, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Earlier roles as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Co-Automation Oy, CM Tools, and Fastems involved designing automation systems, sheet metal tooling, and production cells. Kimmo began a career in research at the University of Oulu, contributing to projects from January 2011 to March 2013, following the attainment of a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oulu in 2011.
