Scott W. has had a long and varied career in technology and management. In 1995, they began as a Consultant Support at MAP. In 1997, they became a Product Manager at Firstsource.com, where they worked on product procurement systems and marketing partnerships. In 2000, they moved to Worldnet Computers as Director of IT, where they developed an online procurement system with the .NET platform. From 1998 to 2017, they held various roles at Beckman Coulter, Capital One, Blizzard/3Point, Hanford Hotels, Zillow, AAA, Pace Punches, Wells Fargo, Department of Health, Alaris Trading, Skypark Financial, and SPP, Inc. In 2017, they co-founded Joticle, Inc., where they served as CEO, Project Manager, and Software Architect. In 2021, Joticle launched its fully evolved platform, with a trajectory for microschooling, expert channels, school choice, VR education, and more. In 2022, Scott W. became a Co-Founder and Software Architect at Microschool News, an Accelerator Mentor at Newchip Accelerator, and a Strategic Advisor at BookMark'd.
Scott W. has an extensive education background. Scott started by attending UC Irvine from 1990 to 1991, where they earned an Associate of Arts in Music Theory and Composition. Scott then moved on to Spokane Falls Community College from 1993 to 1995, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Music Theory and Composition. After that, they attended the University of Phoenix from 2001 to 2005 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. Most recently, they completed the Newchip Accelerator program in 2021. Scott also has a number of certifications, including the ACA Accelerator, Newchip Accelerator, Scribe, LA Music Award, and Microsoft Certified Professional.
