Vanessa Rivera has been working as a Latina Project Coordinator at Domestic Violence and Child Advocacy Center since September 2012. Prior to this role, Vanessa also served as a Bilingual Community Advocate for the Latina Project at Journey Center for Safety and Healing. Since September 2004, Vanessa has been dedicated to their role as a Pastor at Iglesia Cristiana (Discipulos de Cristo) Cleveland, providing support and guidance to their community. Their work focuses on advocacy, education, and preventive services for Hispanic/Latino women experiencing domestic violence.

Journey Center for Safety and Healing provides services that foster safety and healing to those affected by domestic violence and child abuse and prevents abuse through education, advocacy, and systemic change. We envision a community where safety and well-being are achieved by empowering people to find a path toward healthy, thriving relationships.
