Anthony Smith

Anthony Smith currently serves as a member of the Early Learning and Care Council of Australia (ELACCA) since May 2021 and as an advisory council member at St Joseph's Nudgee College's Mary Rice Early Learning Centre since October 2018. As the founder of Journey Early Learning Group since January 2014, Anthony has been instrumental in its establishment and growth. Previously, Anthony was the director and founder of Guardian Early Learning Group from November 2004 to October 2013, where the organization expanded to 70 childcare centres, serving over 8,500 families and managing annual revenues exceeding $110 million. Earlier in career, Anthony held the position of NSW Operations Manager and New Project Development Manager at Peppercorn Childcare from July 2003 to December 2004, overseeing operations for 55 childcare centres and facilitating the growth of additional centres.
