Established in 1995, Journey East has grown to be one of Singapore's most prominent furniture destinations. Housing a curated collection of over 10 international brands, Journey East is known for its unique approach to interior and decor pieces, ranging from reclaimed teak furnishings, industrial-modern accents, refurbished Midcentury South East Asian vintage, and modern designer décor brands. Journey East has been featured in an array of design media such as Wallpaper*, the Louis Vuitton guide, Designboom, The Guardian (UK), and more. Its own furniture collection, PLAYplay, was designed in conjunction with Italian-Singaporean studio Lanzavecchia + Wai, and was listed as Dwell's must-see at the Milan Design Week, and awarded Elle Decor Italy's 'Best of Design'​.
