Gwendolyn Newsome

Gwendolyn Newsome, PhD, has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Gwendolyn started their career at St Augustine's College Raleigh NC in 1988, where they worked in the Counseling Center until 1996. Gwendolyn then joined North Carolina Central University in 2004 as an Assistant Professor, and also worked as an Asst. Prof. at NCCU until 2011. In 2010, they took on the role of Therapist/Consultant at Beliveintherapy. Currently, their position as CEO at Journey Productions is not specified in terms of start date and end date.

Gwendolyn Newsome, PhD, earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. Gwendolyn then went on to complete their Master of Education (M.Ed) in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Gwendolyn further pursued their education and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University.
