Kobie Botha

Kobie started out in the aerospace sector where he designed, constructed, and maintained a multi-million dollar broadband communications payload that was launched into space. He then spent two years modeling marine ecosystems using machine learning algorithms to further the understanding of climate as a driver of sardine and anchovy populations in the Atlantic and Indian oceans. Previously, Kobie co-founded a cybersecurity startup specializing in multi-factor authentication, that was acquired by ESET, a global cybersecurity company.
