Paul Wong, Ph.D.

Paul Wong, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience that includes roles in various industries. Paul is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at JourneyLab.io, where they are responsible for building a platform that helps executives and their teams turn strategies into results. Prior to this, Paul worked at Strategy& as a Management Consultant from 2017 to 2021. In this role, they led client and internal teams to develop and implement practical strategies across various projects, including technology strategy, market entry, and organizational design. Paul also contributed to internal initiatives in continuous improvement, learning and development, recruitment, and diversity & inclusion. Before joining Strategy&, Paul worked at the University of Sydney as a Lecturer where they taught courses in mechanics of solids and applied/computational biomedical engineering. Paul received positive feedback from students and introduced innovative teaching approaches. Additionally, Paul gained experience at Medtronic as an Assistant Marketing Associate.

Paul Wong, Ph.D. completed their higher education in a chronological manner. Paul first attended Sydney Boys High School from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained their Higher School Certificate. Later, they enrolled at the University of Sydney from 2006 to 2010. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical/Biomedical) (Hons I) alongside a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance). Finally, they continued their studies at the University of Sydney and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering from 2011 to 2016.
