Emma Platt

Emma Platt is an experienced professional in account management and program coordination, currently serving as Account Manager for Japan at JoVE since November 2021, where responsibilities include market development and customer engagement in the higher education sector. Prior roles include Japan Programme Manager at InfluenceMap, focusing on climate change policy and energy transition, as well as Development Manager, and Funding Development Officer at Carbon Tracker, managing fundraising processes and partnerships. Additionally, Emma has a strong background in sustainable development education from The Crichton Carbon Centre and past experience in transport solutions and consulting. Emma holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Sheffield Hallam University and The University of Sheffield, respectively, and has both educational and translation experiences in English and Japanese.
