Director Global Program Management Office at Joyson Safety Systems

Kristen Hinchman has extensive work experience in program management and leadership roles in the automotive industry. Krissten currently serves as the Director of the Global Program Management Office at Joyson Safety Systems since May 2018, where they are responsible for implementing an Agile Collaborative approach to improve efficiency. Prior to this, they were the Director of Program Management for KSS's FCA Group from December 2016 to May 2018, overseeing all current and new business related to FCA Occupant Safety programs.

Before joining Joyson Safety Systems, Hinchman worked at ZF TRW from 2005 to 2016. In their Senior Global Lead Engineering Program Manager role, they managed a global column drive program for FCA. Previously, they served as the Manager of Programs/Lead Program Manager for the North American Electric Power Steering group at TRW, where they were responsible for gear and column assembly and global sub-components.

Hinchman began their career at Autoliv in 2000 as a Program Manager, successfully launching CS and RS Inflatable Knee Blocker and PL Driver Airbag programs. Krissten maintained effective communication and collaboration with Autoliv's engineering, production, quality, purchasing, and DCX customers throughout the launch process.

Krissten'scareer in the automotive industry started at Chrysler Group LLC in 1992, where they served as the BIW Process Engineering Manager. In this role, they supervised a team of 12 BIW Process Engineers and was responsible for various aspects of the 1998LH program, including mechanical design, conveyor selection, Robcad, controls, and achieving line speed at the assembly plant.

Overall, Hinchman's work experience demonstrates their strong leadership skills, expertise in program management, and ability to deliver successful outcomes in the automotive industry.

Kristen Hinchman received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University from 1980 to 1983. Krissten later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Central Michigan University from 1998 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in Project Management from the Project Management Institute in April 2008 and Lean Manufacturing Toyota Principles from Chrysler Motors Corp in 1998.
