Richard Townsend

Richard Townsend has extensive work experience in the Engineering field. Richard started their career in 1991 as a Plant Engineer at The Mosaic Company, where they worked until 1998. In 1998, they joined Joyson Safety Systems as a Principal Engineer, responsible for designing next-generation automotive airbag systems. Richard incorporated new technologies to reduce cost, part count, and production cycle time. In 2002, they joined Key Safety Systems as Manager - Inflator Engineering, Europe, a position they held until 2005.

Richard Townsend obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, from 1988 to 1991. Richard also completed several certifications, including "How to Set Goals When Everything Feels Like a Priority" and "Managing Your Time" from LinkedIn in 2022, and "Speaking Up At Work" and "How to Present and Stay on Point" from LinkedIn in 2021.
