Alice Tang

Alice (Shuaikun) Tang, PhD, currently serves as Product Development Manager at Oobli since May 2024. Previously, Alice held the position of R&D Manager at Tropicale Foods, LLC from November 2021 to May 2024 and worked as a Research Chemist at Hilmar Cheese Company, Inc. from June 2015 to November 2021. Academic experience includes a Graduate Student Researcher, Teaching Assistant, and Sensory Assistant roles at UC Davis from September 2010 to March 2016, alongside an internship at the California Institute of Food and Agriculture Research (CIFAR) during the same period. Additionally, Alice was a Research and Development Intern at Hilmar Ingredients in mid-2011 and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Jiangnan University from September 2008 to December 2009. Alice earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Food Science with a focus on analytical chemistry from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Food Science and Engineering from Jiangnan University.
