Chynna Gabotero has held various roles in the research and laboratory field since 2014. Chynna began as a Student Clerical Assistant at the University of California, Davis in 2014. In 2016, they took on the role of Research Laboratory Technician at Bayer CropScience Vegetable Seeds. In 2018, they held a similar role at BASF. In 2019, they worked as a Research Associate I at Agrinos, where they were responsible for conducting plant assays and analyzing data. In 2020, they became a Research Assistant and Tissue Culture Technician at Conception Nurseries. Chynna currently works as a Research Associate at Oobli (formerly Joywell Foods), where they support the development, purification, and production of fermentation-based naturally sweet proteins.
Chynna Gabotero received their Associate of Science in Mathematics and Science from San Joaquin Delta College between 2011 and 2013. Chynna then went on to earn their Bachelor of Science in Genetics from the University of California, Davis between 2013 and 2016.
