Ivan Marten

Ivan Marten has worked in a variety of industries, including trade and investment, energy, sustainability, and finance. Ivan is currently an advisor at JP Global Digital.

Marten began their career in the Basque Country, working for the Basque Trade & Investment agency. Ivan then moved to Saudi Arabia to work for the International Energy Forum. After a few years, they returned to Europe to work for The Al-Attiyah Foundation in Qatar.

Marten later worked for the Spanish energy agency Energiaren Euskal Erakundea / Ente Vasco de la Energía. Ivan then took a position with Innovation Fund Denmark. In this role, they helped Danish companies expand into international markets.

Marten subsequently worked for ENSO Energy Environment and Sustainability, Orkestra-Basque Institute of Competitiveness, and Tikehau Capital. Ivan is currently an advisor at JP Global Digital.

Ivan Marten earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Business Administration and Economics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Ivan also holds a Licenciado en Ciencias Economicas y Empresariales (Bachelor's degree) in the same subject from the same school.
