Joe Mercadante

Joe Mercadante has held a variety of roles in the IT industry since 1992. Joe began their career as Manager of Information Technology at Eastmount Environmental in 1994. In 1995, they became Vice President of Services & CTO at Aegis Associates, where they grew services revenues by over 500% in four years. In 1998, they took on the role of Chief Information Officer at The Gnome Group / MetroNexus. In 2004, they founded JPMerc & Co., a managed IT services provider, and served as its Founder & CEO. During their time there, they developed a services model that has become the new gold standard for the industry. In 2007, they took on the role of Executive Director at Steeple Coffeehouse, where they booked artists, sound engineered, and coordinated volunteers. In 2009, they became Vice President & COO at Geek Office Solutions, where they were responsible for developing the vision and strategic plan of the managed services division, and daily management of all facets of technical and business development operations. Since 2005, they have been a Board of Advisors member at MSPAlliance. Since 2019, they have been an Advisor at AdvisoryCloud.

Joe Mercadante attended the University of Maine from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a BA in Psychology. Prior to that, they attended Saint Sebastian's School in Needham Massachusetts from 1985 to 1989.
