Edinardo Figueiredo

CEO, Latin America & GFG Private Bank New York at JPMorgan Chase & Co.

Edinardo Figueiredo is a Managing Director and CEO of the J.P. Morgan Latin America & GFG Private Bank, and has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry.

Edinardo joined J.P. Morgan in September 2013 as Brazil Market Manager for the Private Bank, and was invited to lead the Latin America team in February 2021 and the GFG team a while later. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, he was CEO of UBS’ Brazil Wealth Management business. Previously, he served as CEO of Banco Itaú Private Bank in Luxembourg and Switzerland, where he was responsible for the front-to-back operations. Edinardo has also held senior positions focusing on investment products at BankBoston and ABN AMRO, and was a partner at one of the largest hedge fund managers in Brazil from 1994 to 1999.

Edinardo is a board member for Gastromotiva, a Brazilian non-profit whose mission is to promote inclusion through Social Gastronomy.

He is graduated in Business Administration from FAAP – Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, in São Paulo, Brazil and holds an Executive MBA from IESE Business School, in Barcelona, Spain. Edinardo took extension courses both at NYU (New York University) and UCLA (University of California Los Angeles) in Macroeconomics and Valuation.

Edinardo is a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English and Spanish and has good knowledge of French.
