Javier Guzman

Javier Guzman is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in community development banking and relationship management. Currently serving as a Credit Executive at JPMorgan Chase since September 2024, Javier previously held roles as Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at City National Bank and Vice President at Union Bank. Earlier career positions include Vice President for Community Lending and Investing at CIT Bank and Underwriting Manager at JPMorgan Chase & Co. With a strong foundation in project financing and underwriting since beginning in the industry in 2001, Javier also has experience in project management and acquisitions analysis through roles at organizations such as California Community Reinvestment Corporation and Chinatown Service Center. Javier holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning, Housing and Development from UCLA and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Chicano Studies from California State University, Northridge.
