Sergei Komarov

Sergei Komarov is a highly experienced technology leader with a strong background in architecture and transformation across major financial institutions. Currently serving as Chief Architect and Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since July 2020, Sergei leads the entire architecture function for Chase, encompassing enterprise and technical architecture. Prior roles include Group Chief Architect at NAB, where Sergei drove significant technology transformations and interfaced with key stakeholders; Chief Technology Officer at Barclays, where technology strategy and innovation were prioritized; and Chief Architect at PayPal, overseeing the Global Credit Platform and driving architectural advancements for extensive user bases. Additional experience includes roles at LiveJournal, SUP Media, and Burson-Marsteller, showcasing a solid foundation in technology and entrepreneurial initiatives. Sergei holds a Master of Science in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
