Suriya Palanikumar

Suriya Palanikumar is a Software Engineer Intern at WePay since June 2022, where a real-time system notification functionality was designed and developed, alongside overseeing the entire software development lifecycle. Previously, Suriya served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at San Jose State University, engaging in grading and assisting with coursework in collaborative filtering and graph mining, and conducting sessions on data mining. A noteworthy achievement includes presenting a poster on Phishing Detection for Chatbots at the Second International Silicon Valley Cybersecurity Conference. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer role at EY from May 2017 to November 2020, contributing to various applications that enhanced data management and compliance processes. Suriya holds a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College.
