Ted Markam

Ted Markam has extensive experience in the banking and financial sectors, currently serving as a Technical Director and Enterprise Architect at First Republic Bank since April 2014, specializing in IT architecture for banking systems. Prior to this role, Ted worked at Charles Schwab & Co. for over 16 years, where responsibilities included driving strategy for complex infrastructure technologies and leading initiatives to simplify legacy code systems. Earlier career highlights include a position as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on mission-critical trading systems, and consulting roles at SEER Technologies and Keane Inc. Ted holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Physics from The University of Manchester and completed "A" levels at Highgate School.
