Yungkwon Kim

Yungkwon Kim is a seasoned professional in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, currently serving as the Applied AI/ML Lead and VP at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since April 2022. In this role, Kim is responsible for designing AI/ML solutions to enhance operations within Consumer & Community Banking and leads a multi-purpose Data Science team. Previously, Kim held the position of Director of A.I. Research at Accrete AI, where strategic planning and client engagement were focal points. Kim also has significant experience as a Research Scientist at Amazon, focusing on predictive modeling and machine learning applications, and has contributed to research at NYU Stern School of Business and the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Kim's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from New York University, alongside advanced studies at the University of Michigan and Seoul National University.
