Diederik van den Berg is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in marine engineering and management. Currently serving as Technical Purchaser at JR Shipping since April 2015, Diederik previously held the role of Technical Superintendent at Jack Up Barge B.V., where responsibilities included managing repairs and maintenance for barges while promoting QHSE awareness. Prior to this, Diederik worked at D.E MASTER BLENDERS 1753 as Teamleider Technisch Beheer, overseeing preventive maintenance and leading a team of maintenance technicians. Diederik's earlier roles include Technical Superintendent at Wagenborg Kazakhstan, where duties involved technical inspections and repair preparations, and Chief Engineer at Wagenborg Shipping BV, responsible for all technical installations on ships. Diederik holds an HBO degree from Hogere Zeevaartschool “Willem Barentsz,” attained between 1992 and 1998.
