Gary Higgens

Gary Higgens has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Gary started their career at BDO LLP as an Audit Senior, where they managed audit teams for various clients and gained experience in UK GAAP and IFRS. Gary then transitioned to the role of Corporate Finance Executive at BDO LLP. Later, they joined BrightHouse as a Group Reporting Accountant/Financial Accountant, where they were responsible for financial reporting, treasury, taxation, and AP functions. Gary also served as the Financial Controller, managing the Central Finance department and implementing financial control. After their time at BrightHouse, Gary worked at Hobbs London as the Head of Financial Control. Currently, they are the Group Head of Finance at JRL Group Ltd, and they have also held the position of Group Financial Controller.

Gary Higgens completed their education at two different institutions. From 2005 to 2008, they attended the University of Southampton, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics. Following this, they enrolled at FTC Kaplan from 2008 to 2010 and obtained the ACA degree in Chartered Accountancy.
