Niall Giggins

Niall Giggins has over 17 years of professional experience in the IT industry. Niall began their career in 2004 at Bright Things, where they held the roles of Technical and Development Manager, Developer Relationship Manager, and Senior Software Engineer. In their roles, they produced technical and conceptual game demos, developed emulator software and developer tooling, and contributed to the development of a programming language for the Bubble console. In 2007, they joined SocialGO as General Manager, Network Operations Manager, Third Party Manager, and Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they provided full-stack scalable designs and proof-of-concept architecture, developed processes and tooling to streamline customer support and management tasks, and built statistic software to provide metrics and cohort/trend analysis. Finally, in 2013, they joined JRNI as Director of Operations, Information Security Manager, Head of Operations, and Head of Engineering. In this role, they designed and implemented scalable server architecture, built and ran a cross-domain engineering team, designed and built automation tooling, built logging and monitoring tooling, and performed complex investigations and problem-solving.

Niall Giggins attended Middlesex University from 2000 to 2003, where they earned a BSc in Video Games programming, Networking and Operating System development. Niall also attended Broomfield School.
