Anthony Carpanzano

Anthony Carpanzano has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Anthony is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor of Pharmaceutics at Long Island University since August 2018. Prior to this, Carpanzano held several key positions at different companies. From 2011 onwards, they worked at JRS Pharma, LP as the Director of Research and Development. Before that, they were the Director of Product Development at Penwest Pharmaceuticals from July 2004 to March 2011. Carpanzano also worked as the Assistant Director of PD at Purdue Pharma L.P. from 1999 to 2004. Prior to that, they held roles at Schein Pharmaceutical, Copley Pharmaceutical, Procter & Gamble (Richardson-Vicks), and Richardson-Vicks, where they gained experience in research, development, and product management.

Anthony Carpanzano attended LIU Brooklyn from 1973 to 1977, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Pharmacy. Prior to attending LIU Brooklyn, they studied at the University of Hartford from 1971 to 1973, earning an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree.
