Carmini Kander Ca (SA)

Carmini Kander CA(SA) has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Carmini is currently employed at the JSE as an Interim CFO, a role they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, Carmini served as the Head of Commercial Finance and was responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis, Procurement, and Investor Relations at the JSE from February 2013 to April 2022.

Before joining the JSE, Carmini worked at the Standard Bank Group as the Head of Finance for the Card Division from May 2009 to January 2013. Additionally, they have extensive experience at Edcon, where they held various roles including Head of Finance for Retail chains and Group Projects from July 2005 to April 2009, and Head of Finance for Edcon Financial Services from June 2003 to June 2005.

Carmini's professional journey began at EY, where they started as an Audit Trainee in January 2000 and was promoted to Audit Manager in January 2003.

Carmini Kander CA(SA) began their education in 1996 at the University of the Witwatersrand. From 1996 to 1998, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Business/Commerce, General. Following this, in 1999, Carmini Kander continued their education at the same university and completed a Bachelor of Accounting (Honours) degree.
