Guido Stroehlein Ph.D.

Guido Stroehlein, PhD, MBA has a diverse work experience in the fields of life sciences, bioprocesses, and chemical engineering. Guido started their career at Dow Chemical as an intern in 2001 and later worked as a Diploma Student at Bayer Technology Services in 2002. Guido then joined ETH Zurich as a Research Assistant and PostDoc, where they completed their PhD and supervised students in modeling reactive- and bio-chromatographic processes until 2007.

In 2007, Guido co-founded ChromaCon AG and served as the CEO and Board Member. During their tenure, they successfully transformed patent ideas into high-tech products sold globally to pharmaceutical companies. Guido also played a crucial role in building the company, developing the business model, IP strategy, and creating a worldwide distributor network. In 2019, ChromaCon AG was acquired by YMC Corp.

In 2015, Guido joined JSR Life Sciences as the Director of Sales and R&D (Bioprocess) until 2017. Guido then took on the role of Global Director of Technology and Development from 2018 to 2022.
