Soon Chia Lim

Soon Chia Lim has a diverse and extensive work experience in various government agencies and organizations. Starting in 2006 at MINDEF, they held roles such as Deputy Chief Research & Technology Officer and Deputy Head of the Joint Planning & Transformation Department. Moving on to the Republic of Singapore Air Force in 2013, they served as Deputy Head of Air Operations in the C4 division. Later, they transitioned to the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) in 2015, where they held the position of Director for the Cyber Security Certification Centre. Their most recent role as Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at JTC Corporation showcases their expertise in digital transformation and leadership.

Soon Chia Lim completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Hons 1st Class) at The University of Manchester from 1987 to 1990. Later, in 1998, Lim obtained a Graduate Diploma in Management Studies from the Command and Staff Course at the Royal Australian Air Force. Moving forward, Lim pursued a Master of Science in Information Technology Management (with Distinction) at the Naval Postgraduate School from 2002 to 2004. Lastly, in 2008, Lim attended the General Management Program (GMP) at Harvard Business School.
