Gus Collins

Gus Collins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in electrical engineering and technology management. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Emerging Technologies at JTEKT North America Corporation since December 2001, Gus leads the development of innovative technologies aimed at enhancing product and process capabilities, focusing on areas such as electric vehicle technologies, robotics, and cloud computing. Previously, as Engineering Manager for Equipment Development at JTEKT, Gus oversaw a team responsible for core manufacturing technology. Gus's career also includes a managerial role at The Timken Company, where an electrical engineering group was established under leadership, and various engineering positions at Eaton Corporation and Eastman Kodak, demonstrating a strong background in automated manufacturing and control systems. Gus holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of New Mexico, respectively.
